Membership in the NYAA is open to any person who is interested in astronomy. The membership year runs from April 1st to March 31st.
People who are interested in Club membership are invited to participate in several Club events before joining. This gives you the opportunity to "test the water" before taking the plunge.

Special Discounts for Club Members
NYAA members can get special discounted subscription rates for Astronomy and Sky & Telescope magazines (typically 10% to 20% off the regular subscription rate). If you are already a subscriber, 12 months will be added to your current term. Subscriptions/renewals are due by May 31st. Otherwise you will have to wait a year!
