Tony Ward(Science And Magic In The Sky), is a geographer who teaches Astronomy and other Earth Science courses at Ajax High School, on the northeastern margins of the Toronto urban glow. Born in New Zealand circa 3 saros cycles ago, he spent his formative years in rural coastal New Zealand, studying by the glow of the southern Gegenschein. He honed his future craft by teaching sheep to read, while waiting for waves, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. He was drawn back to the sky by Halley in 1985 and currently specializes in deep sky objects and second-hand comets observed through an alarming array of optical devices, custom-designed to ward off the evil embrace of entropy. |
