Conditions of Entry
- There is no entry fee of any kind. Submission of entry form constitutes acceptance of the "Conditions of Entry."
- Entries must be received at the registration desk on Saturday August 10, 1996 by 12 noon.
- More than one print or slide of the same subject or slight variations of the same subject may not be entered in that or any other section.
- Not more than two entries may be submitted in any one of the sections. However, entrants may submit entries in as many sections as they desire as long as they are not the same or similar pictures.
- Permission to reproduce entries in connection with the salon is assumed unless otherwise stated on the entry form.
- The NYAA reserves the right to reassign any award whenever entrants have not followed the conditions of entry, whether done inadvertently or not.
- All possible care will be taken in handling entries, but the NYAA can not assume responsibility for loss or damage in transit or during exhibition.
- All photographs must have been taken within the last five years.
Entrant classification and award eligibility:
- There are separate classifications of NOVICE and EXPERT for each of the five sections. It is important that every entrant indicate on the entry form in which his or her entries will compete. Please circle one.
- You must enter as EXPERT if one of the following conditions is met:
- your astrophotographs have been published in a magazine,
- your astrophotographs have won an award in a photographic competition
- You can enter as a novice if none of the criteria in 2 (above) are met.
