Brian O'Rourke (The Benefits of Binocular Viewing) has spent endless hours with his eyes glued to his binoculars, even carting them, along with his mount and dew heaters, to the top of Mauna Kea, Hawaii (on his honeymoon). This has led some people to refer to him as "bino boy". He spent three years getting to know the night sky before purchasing a telescope, and continues to use binoculars.
