On August 11, 1999, a total solar eclipse will be visible in Europe. Since many of the Starfest organizers are also avid eclipse chasers, this presented us with a dilemma as to what to do about Starfest in 1999. After considerable discussion it was decided that Starfest for 1999 only, will be held in July, from July 15 to 18.
