Perseid Meteor Watch
The Perseid meteor shower, the best annual meteor shower with a zenithal hourly rate of 100, will peak on Monday August 12 at 6:00 PM. This is a very long-lasting meteor shower so we should see lots of meteors over the weekend.
An organized meteor watch will be conducted on Sunday night. If you wish to participate in an organized meteor observing session, plan to stay an extra night and bring a lounge chair and warm blankets with you.
