Who Wants To Be An AstroWiz with host Terry Dickinson is an
astronomical version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". Test your
knowledge of astronomy and win valuable prizes in this exciting, fast paced,
edge of your seat game of knowledge. Contestants who successfully reach the
1,000, 16,000 or 1,000,000 astro-point level will win a prize appropriate to
the level achieved. Million astro-point winners will also receive a
certificate declaring them as an AstroWiz. The questions will increase in
difficulty as the astro-point level increases and will be based on the
following topics:
- astronomical facts
- constellations
- deep sky observing
- mythology
- solar system
- telescope fundamentals
- astro-imaging
- astronomical history
To become a contestant enter your name in the AstroWiz contestant box
located at the front of the Small tent. Contestant's names will be drawn
randomly and you could be on your way to becoming an AstroWiz!
