Roland Christen (The Digital Sky), is the founder and owner of Astro-Physics. He is a self taught telescope maker and optical designer who grew up in Windsor, Ontario. His company has established a reputation for producing the finest quality refractors and telescope mountings available today. Many of his customers feel that these telescopes rival those produced by the legendary Alvan Clark and John Brashear.

Astro-Physics will be unveiling their new, state of the art, computer controlled telescope. This system combines the stability and accuracy of their German equatorial mountings with "DigitalSky". This software, developed for Astro-Physics by Charles Sinsofsky, has a unique user interface that revolutionizes the way computer controlled telescopes are used in the field. Roland and Charles will describe the events leading up to the development of this leading edge computer controlled telescope and its design features. A demonstration is included.
