Many amateurs dream of having their own observatory, be it a simple shed with a roll-off roof, or a much more elaborate structure that allows them to control the observatory and telescope from the warmth and comfort of their home. During the conference Marc Castel, Doug Cunningham, Roger Hill and Tim Puckett will share with us what they did to realize their dreams.

To enable other Starfest participants to be part of this event and share their dream observatory with others, a special "Observatory Dream" book is being prepared. This book will be on display during Starfest in or near the main tent, next to the Dark Sky Observing Site Survey.
