Doug Askew (An Imaging Obsession), is an avid astronomer and astrophotographer who uses a 15" Obsession on an equatorial platform for deep sky imaging. Many of his images have been published on the web. In this presentation Doug will cover existing issues and capabilities along with future possibilities of astro-imaging with a Dobsonian on an equatorial platform. He will also get into detail on the mechanics of imaging along with optics & image processing of images taken with a Dobsonian.
