Doug Welch, "Fellowship of the Rings," Main Tent, Saturday 1:30 p.m., is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He in currently the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Gemini Observatory. Whenever possible, he spends time out under the night sky with like-minded friends.
