Guy Nason

(The Joy Of Grazing) is an active member of IOTA (the International Occultation Timing Association) who is making a useful scientific contribution by observing grazing and asteroidal occultations.

A grazing occultation occurs when the edge of the moon passes in front of a star causing the star to play hide and seek with the mountain peaks visible on the edge of the moon.

Guy will take you on a typical graze expedition. As well, he will share with you the excitement of observing the occultation of a star by the Asteroid 85 Io.
