Astronomy software is a great tool for planning your nightly observations. In this presentation Tom and Mike will demonstrate how astronomy software such as Starry Night Backyard^TM can be used to help you familiarize yourself with the night sky by previewing the constellations, planets, and Messier objects through simulated naked eye, binocular and telescope views. In addition they will demonstrate how more advanced software, such as Starry Night Pro^TM, can be used to control a telescope.
