Jake Hicks demonstrates his new Asterphyzics Neutronium Series Refractor. Made with pure neutronium, Jake says that it has "possibly the finest gravitational lens ever made." Weighing in at 100 billion tonnes (excluding counterweights), it has a very stable mount except for the seismic activity it causes. Jake notes, however, that the AP-PEC (periodic error correction) drive completely compensates for this. This 'scope can withstand magnitude 10 and see to magnitude 15. Though problems with chromatic abberation have been reported due to gravitational red and blue shifting, Jake says that he has experienced none of these. |
