Bog Notes
by Jerry Spevak

It was another very productive year at the Bog. The project to supply AC power to the observatory went well, and was completed early in the year. Many thanks to all those who participated. From log entries I can see that this convenience has been a real boon to visual observers and CCD users alike.

In 1993, the observatory was used on 42 nights by 18 members and a handful of guests. This is a phenomenal total. No doubt the relatively faourable observing conditions during the year helped boost this figure.

This spring, in addition to the regular spruceup, we'll be installing a new focuser (an NGF1 with motofocus) and giving the observatory building a couple of coats of paint. As always, your participation is welcome.
