AUGUST 27 — Star Hill Inn Homepage
Be sure to visit the Star Hill Inn homepage. It is very well done, and will bring back many pleasant memories for those who went on the club's expedition there.

AUGUST 24 — Starfest '97 Pictures
Richard Snow has posted some pictures from this year's Starfest on

AUGUST 23 — Lorenz Observatory Update
The Lorenz Observatory has been dismantled and is now in storage at
Bob's place! A great time was had by all, especially those who stayed
for dinner at Bob's! Thanks to all who helped out, and particularly to
the Sandness' for their (as usual) first-class hospitality.

AUGUST 22 — STARFEST '98 Date
The date for STARFEST '98 will be August 20-23, 1998.

AUGUST 14 — Equipment Donation to NYAA
The club has received a very generous donation from Heinz Lorenz: we now have three 24" mirror blanks
(sitting in Bob's basement) and an 8' Ash Dome observatory with a 12" f/10 cass on a fork mount.
