STARFEST '95 GENERAL INFORMATION

CONVENTION REGISTRATION

A registration fee of $35.00 (individual rate) or $45.00 (family rate) is charged to cover the expenses of the convention. A family as defined by the River Place is a mama bear, papa bear and baby bears. Brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, in-laws and goldie locks do not qualify for the family rate. You are urged to pre-register by mail before August 11, 1995. Please complete and return the attached registration form, with payment, to the address indicated. After August 11, 1995 and at the gate, the registration fee will be $45.00 per person or $55.00 per family. Registration confirmations will be mailed to you if payment is received prior to August 11, 1995.

CAMPSITE RESERVATIONS

This is a camping weekend, so bring your tent or trailer. The River Place is a private campground with coin-operated showers, flush toilets, pool and convenience store. To reserve a campsite, please complete the camping reservation section of the registration form and enclose payment.

TRAILER SITES

A limited number of trailer sites with full hookup are available on a first-come, first-served basis; they must be reserved in advance. Please indicate the size of your trailer and your hookup requirements on the registration form.

MEALS

A buffet style dinner will be served in the tent on Saturday night. This dinner consists of roast beef, chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, mixed vegetables, tossed and bean salad, pie, coffee, tea and fruit punch. To reserve your dinner please indicate on the registration form the number required, and enclose payment. We cannot guarantee a dinner unless you reserve one in advance.

The River Place provides pancake breakfasts, light meals and snacks on a pay as you go basis. In addition, coffee and donuts will be available on a pay as you go basis, all night long, in the "Red Light Cafe" located in the recreation hall.

Cooking is allowed in the camping area on camp stoves and charcoal grills. Open fires are not permitted. Restaurants are located in Mount Forest, Durham, and Hanover, within a 1/2 hour drive of the River Place.

Becauseà of the large number of people attending STARFEST, picnic tables are in short supply. We suggest you bring your own folding table and chairs.

STARFEST PROMOTIONAL ITEMS

A limited supply of STARFEST T-shirts, Sweatshirts, baseball caps and crests will be available. To avoid disappointment, order your promotional items with your pre-registration.

Motel and Bed & Breakfast accommodations are available in Mount Forest, Durham, Hanover, Palmerston and Walkerton. Please make your own reservations.
