Jerry Lodriguss


Jerry Lodriguss (Digitally Enhancing Your Astrophotos and An Astrophotography Portfolio) is an award-winning sports photographer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, who has been involved in astrophotography for over 25 years. He has had photos and articles published in popular astronomy magazines worldwide. Last year he had two cover photos on Sky and Telescope magazine, as well as photos of Comet Hale-Bopp published in National Geographic.

Since 1992, Jerry has used digital imaging processing techniques extensively to get the most out of his astrophotos, and is one of North America's leading astrophotographers in this field. On Friday, Jerry will conduct a workshop that will describe in depth the image processing features of Photoshop that he uses to get the most out of his images. On Saturday, Jerry will do a more general presentation to showcase his work.
