Cathy McWatters (The Challenge Of City Observing), one of the founding members of the NYAA, has over two decades of observing experience. She has always enjoyed the challenge of city observing. Her interests in astronomy include teaching students with the aid of a portable planetarium, telescope making, and comet watching, most recently with a 13-inch telescope.
