Dave Petherick (Solar Eclipse Wrap-up), is an engineer and avid telescope maker who has built his own 8" telescope and CCD camera.

In February, Dave and twenty other members of the South Simcoe Amateur Astronomers travelled to Antigua to observe the total solar eclipse. Dave will recount the tale of their "most excellent eclipse adventure" and share some of their images with us.
