Entrant Classification and Award Eligibility

  1. There are separate classes — Novice and Expert — for each of the three sections. It is important that every entrant indicate on the entry form in which class his or her entries will compete. Please circle one.

  2. You must enter as Expert if one of the following conditions is met:
    • your astrophotographs have been published in a magazine,
    • your astrophotographs have won an award in a photographic competition

  3. You can enter as a Novice if none of the criteria in 2 (above) are met.

  4. Professional astrophotographers are not eligible.
