SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
KIDFEST 2004

Kidfest is a special program for younger astronomers, and those simply young at heart!

This year, Ken and Mercedes Davy, Kirsten Vanstone, and the Kidfest volunteers will conduct a new and improved program on Saturday morning in the small tent. Instead of three separate sessions for different age groups, astronomical activities for all ages will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Each activity lasts between 15 - 20 minutes, allowing budding astronomers plenty of time to explore several different topics. Astronomers receive a stamp in their Astronomer's Logbook for each completed activity. Those who complete several activities will receive a special certificate for their hard work.

Parent or Guardian attendance is mandatory up to the age of 9, and recommended for ages 10 and up.
